Chromium & Cobalt for Metal on Metal (MoM) Wear Checking
On the 28 February 2012, the Medicines and Healthcare
Products Regulatory Agency (MHRA) issued a new medical device alert regarding
MoM hip replacements. This requested an action whereby updated systems
should be put in place to follow up patients.
