Functional Antibodies

 

Functional antibody testing is often used to assess the functioning of the patient immune system either to identify any deficiencies or to alternatively assess the vaccination status for a particular pathogen. The functional antibody tests available from the Immunology Department are for Streptococcus pneumonia, Haemophilus influenza or Clostridium tetani.
