IgE to Allergen Components (Component resolved Diagnostics, CRD) including ISAC

Peanut, Hazelnut, Eggs, Insect Venom, Latex, Wheat

We offer a service for IgE to various purified allergen components, either as individual components associated with a specific allergen or as a 112 allergen array (ISAC).  The indications for CRD testing are when there is no good history to determine the significance of a weak positive IgE result or skin prick test to a conventional allergen extract.  The presence of IgE to certain components is associated with a higher risk of systemic reactions than to others.
