Caffeine & Paraxanthine in Serum and Urine
We offer a service for caffeine and its main metabolite paraxanthine in
serum and urine (also saliva if required). The indications for caffeine
measurement include therapeutic drug monitoring in neonates. In other
subjects it is potentially of use in assessing caffeine intake in subjects
at risk of caffeinism. In particular this includes at risk groups whose
intake of high caffeine energy drinks is a problem.
