Focus Was Fun ....

We had a stand at Focus 08, the ACB Annual National Meeting and Exhibition at the ICC in Birmingham.

• The stand was staffed from our department an on it we met many of our users who we enjoyed meeting in the flesh.
• Our lunchtime mini-seminars on the stand proved very popular, especially the one on how to take your FRCPath Part I exam.

About Us

The Pathology Department at City Hospital in Birmingham is part of Sandwell and West Birmingham Hospitals NHS Trust. Situated close to Birmingham City Centre, we are a busy clinical laboratory with specialist interests in a number of our laboratories. We undertake research in these areas and offer a number of our tests to others Trusts.

These web pages offer information on the specialist assays that we offer, including information on turnaround times as well as the ability to download user information leaflets.

We put great importance on ensuring that we communicate with those that refer tests to us and this website is just one example of this.
