This service is available to members of the public at an introductory price of £20 (£25 overseas). If you would like to undertake the test please click here...... Key features include: You can order a test pack by phone using a credit/debit card (Tel: 0121 507 4278). The test pack contains everything to take a finger prick blood spot and return it to our laboratory. Your result is emailed to the address you provide along with clear interpretation. Caffeine and Paraxanthine to Check for Abuse There is increasing evidence that caffeine intake can be a problem and in particular from the exponential rise in use of "energy drinks" containing caffeine. We now offer caffeine an paraxanthine measurement in serum and urine to look for excessive intake of caffeine. For our urine test we offer  caffeine and paraxanthine results assessed against a creatinine ratio. An information leaflet with full details is now available. Further details...... 6-TGN Assay ... 6-MMP Now  Added With increasing interest in checking the active metabolites of azathioprine we have now updated the user information leaflet for our Thiopurine metabolites assay. We now report 6-MMP as well as 6-TGN and the new leaflet explains how to interpret these additional results. The price for this service remains the same.
